Dixon Design and Development is an R&D group. Our newest product is the Series 3000 mirror adapters. These adapters have a sleek functional design which are machined out of a solid block of aluminum, then anodized or polished to protect the finish from the environment.

In many states it is illegal to drive a vehicle on a public road without at least 2 rear view mirrors, i.e., driver side and middle or driver & passenger sides.

When you take the doors off your "Hard top" or "Soft top" Jeep Wrangler, the mirrors go with the doors. By using our 3000 series mirror adapter, all you need to do is remove the mirror from the door (which is held on by one nut) and attach the mirror to the series 3000 mirror adapter with that same nut. Then, attach the adapter to the top hinge of your Wrangler, which you just removed the door from, using the stainless bolt and washers included in the kit.

By using the 3000 series adapter you keep the stock look and have the freedom of legally having your doors off. These adapters add NO additional vibration or shaking of the mirror when you drive. Not only do they look good, they are functional. The same notches which allow you to fold your mirrors back on your door for squeezing between the trees are designed into the 3000 series adapters.
